SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Lexicon today announced that its PCM Native Reverb Plug-In Bundle and PCM92 Stereo Reverb/Effects Processor have been nominated for 2010 TEC (Technical Excellence and Creativity) awards from the TEC Foundation for Excellence in Audio, in the categories of Signal Processing Technology/Software and Signal Processing Technology/Hardware.

“Our PCM Native Reverb Plug-In Bundle and PCM92 were designed to provide our latest-generation Lexicon reverb and processing in software as well as hardware configurations, to users who require the highest levels of sound quality and functionality,” stated Rob Urry, President, Harman Music Group. “We are proud that our efforts have been recognized by our industry peers with two TEC awards nominations.”

The Lexicon PCM Native Reverb Plug-In Bundle is designed as the ultimate studio reverb plug-in package for creating professional mixes with digital audio workstations including Pro Tools, Logic, Nuendo and others. It offers seven Lexicon reverb algorithms including: Vintage Plate, Plate, Hall, Room, Random Hall, Concert Hall and Chamber, and comes with over 950 studio presets. The software features an extremely intuitive user interface that displays nine of the most-used parameters for ready customization, yet also allows users to go deeply into the editing parameters for unmatched sonic tailoring capabilities.

The PCM Native Reverb Plug-In Bundle provides a wealth of additional advanced capabilities including an EQ section with the ability to dial in settings for both early and late reflections, and input and output meters that display the audio levels going to and from each reverb. In addition, each plug-in is complemented with three multi-dimensional real-time displays that offer additional visualization in shaping the sound. The bundle is compatible with Windows® and Macintosh® platforms.

Lexicon’s PCM92 Stereo Reverb/Effects Processor incorporates a collection of more than 1,200 factory presets to deliver classic Lexicon algorithms and audio quality for live sound and studio use. It features 28 mono and stereo reverbs, delays and modulation effects along with flexible routing options. The PCM92 offers Lexicon’s acclaimed Hall, Concert Hall and Random Hall algorithms that have become industry standards for their ability to realistically reproduce the musical ambience of live acoustic spaces.

The single-rack-space PCM92 provides a number of versatile features and analog and digital connectivity options, and easily integrates with a mixing console or recording studio. Adding to its flexibility, the PCM92 can be remotely controlled via the Harman HiQnet™ System Architect™ control protocol or a remote foot controller.
