Setting the MIDI channel and setting up a Cakewalk ini file for the Lexicon JamMan

1. Power up the system while holding the RESET/BYPASS and FUNCTION button.
A "d" should appear on the display.

2. Press RESET/BYPASS, then turn the Mode knob until "15" is displayed.

3. Press RESET/BYPASS. The display will show "1" (the default MIDI
channel). Turn the SELECT knob until your desired MIDI channel is displayed
(0 = off). 

4. Press RESET/BYPASS, then turn the Mode knob until "9" is displayed.
Press RESET/BYPASS to assume normal operation with the new MIDI channel
assignment.

(The RESET/BYPASS button is used as a sort of <Enter key)

Please note that JamMan does not contain any non-volatile memory so the
MIDI channel assignment is lost every time the system is power cycled.

The following is an excerpt from my CakeWalk "master.ini" file which lists
the function assigned to each MIDI program change message in each of the
modes for the JamMan.

If you use CakeWalk you can add these directly to the "master.ini" file. If
you select one of the JamMan assignments under "Settings|Instruments" the
events (program changes) will be listed with the function they perform.
